The Anglican Central Education Authority proudly congratulates Elisha and Adam Thompson, two outstanding student-athletes, for their stellar performance representing Freedom Farm Baseball League at the recent Baseball Nationals held in Freeport, Grand Bahama, from June 19–22.
Adam Thompson, a member of the 8U team, helped lead his squad to a gold medal victory—breaking records with the most runs scored in the tournament’s history. His older brother, Elisha Thompson, dominated the 10U division, not only earning a gold medal with his team but also sweeping all three top individual awards: Best Pitcher, Most Hits, and tournament MVP.
Building on this momentum, the Thompson brothers will next represent the Ultimate Champions Baseball Academy at the USSSA World Series in Dallas, Texas from June 26–July 3, followed by the prestigious Babe Ruth Tournament in Fort Myers, Florida from July 7–12.
“These young men exemplify the spirit of discipline, sportsmanship, and excellence that we seek to instill in all our students,” said a spokesperson for the ACEA. “Their dedication on and off the field is a testament to the values instilled by both their family and their school community.”
The ACEA celebrates the achievements of Elisha and Adam and looks forward to their continued success as they proudly represent The Bahamas on the international stage.
